Celebrity guests, including actress Jaime King and DJ A-Trak took to Vine to post clips (some of which have since been reposted on YouTube) of ‘Ye performing some new tunes. Included in the set was “I Am God,” a song that Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter toldRolling Stone features West “kind of screaming primally.”
Kanye also sweet-talked his babymama-to-be Kim Kardashian via auto-tune, by singing about her awesomeness.
While reaction to the tracks is decidedly mixed, some fans are annoyed by Vine’s short-clip format.
Kanye’s performance and the viral videos are likely to ratchet up anticipation for his sixth album, which is likely due on June 18. That’s the date that West recently tweeted with no explanation. Some initially thought it was the due date for his and Kim’s baby, but that blessed event should happen a few weeks after.

Memo to Kanye West: The whole God complex routine has been
done, and by a far more famous band.
While the Beatles’ John Lennon innocently said the group was “more popular than Jesus Christ” during a 1966 press conference, rapper West’s new song also has God on its mind.
One Vine — created by a DJ in attendance, named A-Trak — finds West intoning “I Am A God,” over an ominous synthesizer intro. The declaration/outburst is followed by a rash of primal screams from the star. Rumors had swirled earlier this year that West would title his new CD, “I Am A God.”
